We are currently seeking a Piping Superintendent II. The Piping Superintendent II is an advanced-level role responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex piping systems. This position requires strong technical expertise, the ability to manage work independently, and collaboration with project leaders to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Travel may be required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification or licensure as a pipefitter preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Mastery of welding, system design interpretation, and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Proven leadership ability to manage teams and oversee job site operations.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Self-starter and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and elevated environments.
  • Use of hands to handle tools, reach, and operate equipment.
  • Ability to hear, speak, and communicate clearly on active jobsites.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification or completion of an apprenticeship in pipefitting.
  • Experience with industrial piping systems.
  • OSHA 30 or can obtain within 30 days of start

Responsibilities

  • Oversee installation of complex piping systems on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Perform advanced welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), threading, and system alignments.
  • Lead troubleshooting and repair of system issues, including leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.
  • Conduct and oversee pressure testing for system integrity.
  • Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage workflow, assign tasks, and oversee productivity on job sites.
  • Represent pipefitting discipline in project planning and safety meetings.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in all work.
