About The Position
This is a 12-month contract assignment with potential for conversion to a permanent role. The position involves creating detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models using AutoCAD for process plants, refineries, and chemical facilities. The role requires coordination with various engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems and the preparation of essential documentation.
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of petrochemical experience
- AutoCAD proficiency
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the field preferred
- Votech or ITT schooling preferred
Responsibilities
- Create detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models using AutoCAD software for process plants, refineries, and chemical facilities
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of piping with other systems
- Prepare P&IDs, bills of materials (BOM), technical specifications, and operational guidelines
- Conduct site walkdowns, verify designs, and resolve routing conflicts with civil/structural disciplines
