Pickett is seeking a skilled Pipeline Welder experienced in SMAW (Stick) welding to join its team in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a full-time, local position with no travel required. The role involves welding pipeline systems and related components while meeting quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and experience with pipeline or construction projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of SMAW (Stick) welding experience; pipeline experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass a welding test, if required.
• Knowledge of pipeline construction and welding procedures.
• Strong understanding of safety practices in a construction environment.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous pipeline welding experience.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
• OSHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform SMAW (Stick) welding on pipeline systems and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and specifications.
• Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy and structural integrity.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow company and site safety policies and procedures.
• Work with crew members to complete projects efficiently.
