About The Position

The Pipeline Operator will be required to monitor, inspect, and ensure proper working conditions and operation of disposals within assigned area. Assigned area for the qualified candidates will be based on commuting distance proximal to Wink, TX, Midland, TX or Jal/Hobbs, New Mexico. Requirements

High School Diploma or comparable such as GED.
Must be 18 years of age
Oil and gas industry experience.
Self-motivated and strong time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Familiar with standard concepts and procedures as it relates to the role and industry.
Able to be punctual and dependable; good attendance record.
Must have a valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance provider throughout employment to be able to drive a Company vehicle.
Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally across all levels of staff, customers, and vendors.
Able to be on call as needed.
Basic computer skills

3 years required in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

Performs equipment maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to replacing leaking fittings, valves, repairing hoses, etc.
Required to be on call from time to time or as scheduled by the Field Supervisor
Logs documentation electronically as instructed.
Monitors locations for leaks, hazards, etc.
Completes JSA per shift/daily.
Completes and/or assists with monthly/annual inspections checklist for our required SPCC plan.
Cleans area debris, containment, tanks, remove plants, pressure wash etc.
Checks equipment to mitigate potential problems or safety issues and reports to appropriate personnel for repair(s)
Operates location's automation system (SCADA)
Maintains safe and clean facilities by means of basic housekeeping duties and processes.
Replaces and cleans filters.
Utilizes a variety of hand tools and power tools for pipeline repairs, installations, and maintenance.
Complies with all Company policies and procedures ; adheres and is compliant to safety and environmental guidelines.
Submits own timesheets timely and accurately for approval and adheres to schedule as agreed upon on the date of hire, and adjusted work schedules thereafter based on company needs.
Operates specific pipeline systems and/or facilities (i.e. monitoring pressures, temperatures and flow rates, and making appropriate operational changes)
Makes valve line-up and manifold changes, monitors sample pots, adjusts sample rates, draws samples and performs laboratory tests on samples.
Reads and records custody meters or witnesses and verifies readings taken by customers.
Responds to inquiries regarding leaks, line locations and encroachments and takes appropriate action to resolve issues.
Schedules, coordinates and performs meter proving of custody transfer meters and control meters.
Maintains meter factor trend data and perform and/or coordinate measurement equipment calibrations.
Assist with other duties as assigned based on company needs.
