Pipeline Laborer

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of gas installation practices and safety standards
- Experience performing physically demanding field work
- The position lifts heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Digging, pushing, pulling, and manual material handling
- Working in variable weather and field conditions
- Strong stamina and physical endurance
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pipeline, gas, or utility construction environments is preferred.
- Operator Qualification (OQ) certifications preferred
- Plastic pipe fusion certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Execute assigned work in accordance with project specifications and field direction
- Support safe, compliant installation of pipeline and utility infrastructure
- Prepare job sites to optimize construction workflow and productivity
- Dig trenches and assist with pipe and drainage installation
- Perform plastic pipe fusion and Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks when certified
- Erect temporary structures and traffic safety controls as directed
- Remove debris, waste materials, and hazards from job sites
- Load and unload equipment, materials, and tools
- Clean, maintain, and properly store construction equipment
- Fill potholes and support site restoration activities
- Follow all safety standards and incident reporting procedures
- Assist in training apprentices and new team members
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials
- Communicate job site concerns to field leadership promptly
