About The Position

The Pipeline Foreman will be responsible for daily operational tasks, including timesheet submittal, safety talks, and job safety analysis. This role involves monitoring employee attendance, coordinating materials, updating crew schedules, and processing client job packets. The Foreman will also manage material releases, maintain organized document storage, and track job scheduling and completion records. Additionally, they will schedule quality and safety inspections, coordinate third-party vendor rentals and repairs, and oversee the inspection and certification of tools and equipment. The position requires coordinating ancillary services, estimating resource needs, assigning crews, and monitoring inventories. A proactive approach to issue resolution, employee discipline, coaching, and holding crews accountable for efficiency and production are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of time.
  • Ability to conduct a high-pressure test
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Three (3+) plus years’ experience in a Gas Pipeline role is required.
  • Prior crew coordination experience is required.
  • Experience working with underground utilities required.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
  • Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Daily timesheet submittal
  • Daily safety talk to identify hazards on the job with the crew and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Submittal
  • Monitors and manages employee attendance and material coordination sheets.
  • Updates daily crew schedules and communications to the Management group
  • Processes client job packets, coordinates with permit technician and coordinates the accuracy and updates for Material Releases for individual projects.
  • Maintains organized document storage retention.
  • Maintains updated job scheduling and completion records.
  • Schedules quality and safety crew inspections for Operations management
  • Supports the coordination of third-party vendor rentals and repairs for individual job projects.
  • Coordinates and schedules the inspection and certification of tools and equipment.
  • Coordinates and schedules ancillary services on projects with Managements assistance
  • Gives estimated times, materials, equipment, and supplies needed.
  • Sends crews on assignments and assists with operational tasks.
  • Monitors inventories and requests supplies and equipment needed.
  • Utilizes a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues.
  • Disciplines and coaches employees
  • Hold the crew accountable for efficiency and production
