About The Position

Help with lay-out and perform all types of pipe laying installation with water, sewer and storm drain work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Work with other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Must have the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
• In-depth understanding of various types and sizes of underground pipe such as cast iron, ductile, pvc, concrete, and clay.
• Able to read and understand safety and quality standards.
• Effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
