About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Pipefitting Foreman to lead commercial and industrial piping projects from start to finish. If you're a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality work, values safety, and knows how to keep projects on schedule, we'd like to hear from you. As a Pipefitting Foreman, you'll supervise field crews while actively working alongside your team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipefitter Foreman or Lead Pipefitter on commercial or industrial construction projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage field crews.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Thorough knowledge of commercial piping systems, installation methods, and mechanical systems.
Experience with layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of piping systems.
Knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and coordination with other trades.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Capable of performing physically demanding work while leading field operations.
Must have valid SCDL.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise pipefitting crews on commercial construction projects.
Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to maximize productivity.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed for each phase of work.
Install, assemble, and repair piping systems according to project specifications.
Cut, thread, bend, fit, and secure pipe using hand and power tools.
Install valves, fittings, supports, hangers, and related mechanical equipment.
Perform pressure, hydrostatic, and system testing to verify quality and performance.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and project specifications.
Identify and resolve installation issues while maintaining project schedules.
Coordinate daily activities with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades.
Ensure crews follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Train, mentor, and develop apprentice and journeyman pipefitters.
Maintain accurate daily reports, material usage, and production records.
Monitor equipment and tool maintenance and ensure a clean, organized jobsite.
