About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Pipefitting Foreman to lead commercial and industrial piping projects from start to finish. If you're a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality work, values safety, and knows how to keep projects on schedule, we'd like to hear from you. As a Pipefitting Foreman, you'll supervise field crews while actively working alongside your team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter Foreman or Lead Pipefitter on commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage field crews.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial piping systems, installation methods, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of piping systems.
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and coordination with other trades.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Capable of performing physically demanding work while leading field operations.
  • Must have valid SCDL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise pipefitting crews on commercial construction projects.
  • Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to maximize productivity.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed for each phase of work.
  • Install, assemble, and repair piping systems according to project specifications.
  • Cut, thread, bend, fit, and secure pipe using hand and power tools.
  • Install valves, fittings, supports, hangers, and related mechanical equipment.
  • Perform pressure, hydrostatic, and system testing to verify quality and performance.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and project specifications.
  • Identify and resolve installation issues while maintaining project schedules.
  • Coordinate daily activities with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Ensure crews follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and develop apprentice and journeyman pipefitters.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, material usage, and production records.
  • Monitor equipment and tool maintenance and ensure a clean, organized jobsite.
