About The Position

Archer Mechanical is seeking a full-time Pipefitter to join our growing team! Archer Mechanical specializes in sustainable mechanical and plumbing systems, providing design-build, design-assist, new construction, additions, remodels, retrofits, service, and preventative maintenance. Requirements

Previous Pipefitting experience
1 year of Pipe fitting experience
Self-motivated with excellent time management, organization, and task management abilities.
Proficient in clear and effective communication with various stakeholders, including general contractors, vendors, sub-trades, and in-house management.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project needs.

Nice To Haves

Certifications or licenses are a plus

Responsibilities

Plan, lay-out and perform all types of pipe fitting and fabrication work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to determine the type, size, and layout of pipes needed.
Accurately measure, cut, and bend pipes to specified dimensions using hand and power tools.
Assemble and install piping systems, ensuring they are aligned and properly supported.
Installing and working with PVC, Copper Pipe and Groove Pipe, and more
Laying out, Cutting, Assembling and/or Installing Pipe
Install related equipment such as valves, supports, hangers, and hydraulic systems.
Test installed systems for leaks and other potential issues using pressure gauges and other testing equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Work closely with other tradespeople, such as plumbers, welders, and electricians, to ensure seamless project completion.
