About The Position
Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Pipefitter. This is an 8-hour day shift position, Monday through Friday. The Pipefitter will be responsible for maintaining all mill piping and valving in a safe and timely manner to ensure plant runability. Additional responsibilities may include cutting, threading, welding, and installation of pipe, as well as replacing and repairing valves.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Four (4) years of experience in a related field.
- Three (3) to five (5) years in an industrial environment.
- Excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills.
- Good written and oral skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in off-hours support, i.e. call-ins, overtime, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman’s certification.
- Equivalent experience without certifications will be considered.
Responsibilities
