An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will perform all pipefitting work necessary to construct new or maintain and repair existing piping systems. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development)
  • Must have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training
  • 8 years of experience to qualify as a Journeyman Pipefitter
  • Valid driver’s license
  • To be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Nice To Haves

  • Must be able to read, interpret and work from blueprints and have a knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

  • Lay out, fabricate, install, maintain, alter, test and diagnose trouble and repairs for water, waste, gas, steam, acid, fuel, air and oil lines.
  • Cut, thread, fit, align, weld, caulk and cover piping, as required, in accordance with blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
  • Use all types of hand tools common to the trade, such as pipe wrenches, cutters, reamers, caulking tools, levels, etc. and such equipment as, threading machines, welding and cutting torches, sewer augers, etc.
  • Handle materials manually or with the aid of material handling equipment. Must be knowledgeable about the proper and safe methods to handle these materials.
  • May be required to assist in the cleanup of spills of these materials.
  • Able to read, interpret and work from blueprints and have a knowledge of basic math.
  • In this role, you may be required to work from ladders or scaffolding high above floor level and handle both liquid and solid type hazardous materials and wastes.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • A 9/80 compressed work week means an employee works 80 hours over nine days in a two‑week period. Generally, this means working nine hours Monday ‑ Thursday, with alternating eight‑hour Fridays and “off” Fridays.
