About The Position

Ledcor is seeking Apprentice or Journeyperson Pipefitters for a major industrial project, a significant expansion in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The company emphasizes safety, quality, and craftsmanship, and is looking for dedicated professionals to join their 'True Blue Ledcor team'.

Requirements

  • Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Apprentice Pipefitters must be registered with a provincial training authority
  • Previous industrial construction experience preferred
  • Strong team player with willingness to support where required
  • Successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid government ID
  • Project online orientations must be completed

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and maintain industrial piping systems as per drawings and specifications
  • Perform fit-up, alignment, and installation of piping, valves, flanges, and supports
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
  • Support bolt-up, torquing and testing
  • Execute rigging and hoisting support for pipe installation
  • Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including permit systems and lockout/tagout
  • Support material handling, site organization, and crew activities
  • Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality
