About The Position
Provide installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment. The equipment includes pipes, pumps and compressors, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems. The position requires flexibility in meeting multiple job demands. To provide, exceptional maintenance service to ensure continuous operation within the facility.
Requirements
- Must possess Inter-provincial Journeyman Pipefitter (red seal).
- Basic PC skills (Excel and Word).
- Hold current TDG, WHMIS and First Aid certificates (or be willing to obtain and maintain).
- Ability to work in a team based, self-managed environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent Organizational Skills, Interpersonal Skills, and Leadership Skills.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions with the appropriate PPE
Responsibilities
- Conduct Predictive and Preventive maintenance based on the SAP CMMS program. In addition, should always be looking at opportunities to improve the existing PM program.
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- General plant maintenance
- Operation of the following mobile equipment: man lift, forklift and company vehicle
- Work scheduled 8-hour days and occasionally 10–16-hour days for emergency repairs including weekends and holidays
- Follow all plant safety guidelines
- Assiss set upot in the management of the spare parts inventory
- Assist in the planning and coordination of the annual turnarounds
