About The Position

FLINT is seeking Pipefitters to join their team for the Empress, Alberta Turnaround project. This temporary position involves a variety of tasks including piling, equipment removal and replacement, structural steel and piping installation, welding, rigging, and general material handling. The project is scheduled from August 9 to October 10, 2026, with a 12 days on, 2 days off rotation. Workdays consist of 8 regular hours and 2 overtime hours. Additional benefits include daily travel pay, mobilization/demobilization for those living over 125 km from the site, and a living-out allowance (LOA) for non-locals.

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate
  • Minimum 3 years in oil and gas construction projects preferred
  • CSTS 2020 or CSTS 09
  • WHMIS
  • H2S Alive
  • Fall Protection
  • Aerial Work Platform
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required
  • Must have your own reliable transportation to the site
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits
