About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Pipefitter to apply basic pipefitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems (e.g., steel, cuni). The role involves working from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders, using measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping, and sil-brazing cuni pipe. The Pipefitter may inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Participation in special projects is also required.

1 + years of related experience
Pipe Fittings
Piping
Piping Systems
Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
1-3 years of related pipefitting experience.
Braze qual CUNI and copper/face feed

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational training preferred

Responsibilities
