Journeyman (Level 4) - Typically 7 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently. Level 4 workers are highly skilled specialist in their craft. These workers demonstrate a strong understanding of technical details and safety protocols and can manage complect assignments efficiently. They act as role models within the crew by maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety, often assisting in coordinating workflow without officially holding supervisory responsibilities. Lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and maintains piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water fixtures and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and production and processing systems.
