About The Position

Archer Western Construction, LLC is seeking a Pipe Layer for the 225151 - PR3 Pumping and Conveyance Volume 4 project in Arcadia, Florida. The Pipefitter assembles, installs, and replaces pipe systems and related components made of materials such as metal, plastic, ceramic, and composition, and installs plumbing fixtures. The role supports piping work involving water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases, as well as vacuum, drainage, and sewage systems. Requirements

3–5 years of verifiable experience is preferred.
Experience working with piping systems and fixtures, and adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for using tools and machinery.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Good manual dexterity; may need to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
Install vacuum piping systems and drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
Handle and move materials and equipment used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.
Assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related components, and install plumbing fixtures.
