About The Position

Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Their Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. The Stennis Test team designs, builds, and operates Relativity’s propulsion and stage test stands. Team members are hands-on with large-scale, complex systems including fully integrated engines and stage assemblies, pushing hardware to the limits and directly contributing to flight readiness. The work is fast-paced and highly operational. As a Pipefitter / Structural fitter, you will perform functions in building of new test stand facilities and modifying existing test stands to support site testing milestones.

Requirements

2+ years of experience working as a Pipefitter
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Must be able to use industry standard PPE
Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical documents, and/or engineering drawings
Experience using a variety of welding equipment (TIG, MIG, etc.)
Experience and ability to perform part layout and fit-up
Must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi.
