About The Position

Southeast Houston area company needs help in their pipe yard. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the forklift operator with loading/unloading product onto or from trucks, and moving pipe within the yard. Ability to follow both verbal and hand signal instructions to identify pipe to be moved. Verifies heat numbers, quantity, and complete chocking of pipe. Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Painting, stenciling, sandblasting and coating pipes.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Pipe, valve and fitting/flange experience
