This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and have experience in material handling environments, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands
  • Comfortable working outdoors and staying physically active throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts or similar) preferred
  • Experience with, or readiness to learn, distribution technology such as RF scanners
  • Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements
  • Detail-oriented, team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to step in where needed

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse, yard, or distribution experience preferred
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment (specifically Combi-lift or Moffett) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts other yard powered industrial equipment (PIT) to move, load, and unload pipe and materials
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality
  • Ensures inbound shipments of moderate importance levels are received and registered correctly.
  • Stock, organize, and maintain yard inventory to ensure efficient material flow
  • Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Prioritize daily tasks to meet shipping timelines and support operational needs
  • Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following all established standard operating procedures for assigned task areas
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard environment
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times
  • Participate in safety observations, audits, and team meetings
  • Communicate effectively with team members and support a collaborative work environment
