About The Position

RK Mechanical is hiring Pipe Shop Fabricators at Levels 1, 2, and 3 in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves fabricating and assembling piping systems from drawings and specifications, preparing and fitting materials, welding using qualified processes, and ensuring accuracy and quality in your work. We are looking for individuals who take pride in clean fit-ups, accurate spools, and quality welds.

Requirements

• Qualified for 1G/3G welding (Level 1).
• Qualified for 6G welding (Level 2 & 3).
• Demonstrated pipe-fitting proficiency (Level 3).
• Industrial pipe shop experience.
• Ability to read measurements and fabrication drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble piping systems from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and fit materials.
• Weld using processes you're qualified for.
• Check your work for accuracy and quality.
• Perform basic fit-up and fabrication (Level 1).
• Weld pipe in multiple positions (Level 2 & 3).
• Work from spool sheets and isometrics (Level 2 & 3).
• Help develop Level 1 fabricators (Level 2).
• Independently lay out, fit, weld, and assemble complex piping systems (Level 3).

• $2,000 sign-on bonus for in-state candidates within 0-100 miles (paid as a lump sum on first paycheck).
