About The Position

Black & Veatch is seeking a Piping and Mechanical Equipment Project Estimator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on Piping and Mechanical estimates in the Advanced Power Generation (APG), LNG/FLNG, Oil and Gas, Water/Wastewater, and Process Industries. You will manage multiple professionals and projects, support the development of complete proposal estimates by combining multi-discipline inputs for Piping and Mechanical Equipment scopes, review design scopes, perform quantity takeoffs, and analyze construction productivity. You will also develop estimate components including contingency, escalation, and cost reconciliation, perform cross-project comparisons of scope, quantities, and costs, prepare management presentations, and maintain historical cost data. Additionally, you will review designs/specifications for cost efficiency and recommend improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives and related change management.

Requirements

6 to 20 years of relevant experience, including some estimating experience, is required.

Responsibilities
