Industra is seeking a Local Pipelayer to join our project in Dain City, Welland, ON. This is an 18-month duration project. Requirements

• Experience as a Pipelayer.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of pipe laying techniques and materials.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in construction.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on municipal or infrastructure projects.
• Unionized environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and lay pipes according to project plans and specifications.
• Ensure proper alignment and grade of pipes.
• Connect pipes and seal joints.
• Backfill trenches and compact soil.
• Operate tools and equipment necessary for pipe laying.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures on site.
