As a Full-Time Experienced Pipe Layer/Laborer at Allied Development Group, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our construction projects in Lancaster, Ohio. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring that all necessary resources are readily available for efficient workflow. You will hand dig and probe to accurately locate existing utilities, and skillfully assemble and place pipes, fittings, structures, mechanical restraints, and thrust blocks. Utilizing advanced tools such as rotary lasers and pipe lasers, you will ensure the accuracy of your work, contributing to the integrity and safety of each project. This hands-on position demands precision and expertise, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact in a high-performance environment focused on excellence and forward-thinking solutions.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to all OSHA requirements and the company trench safety manual
  • Proficiency in rigging trench boxes, street plates, and other related materials
  • Familiarity with advanced tools such as rotary lasers and pipe lasers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing
