About The Position

We have an excellent opportunity for an EXPERIENCED Pipe Crew Foreman in our Central Idaho Division location, and we encourage applicants in the Lewiston Clarkston Valley and North Idaho to apply! This role requires a strong working knowledge of safety rules, regulations, construction layout, and specifications, as well as proper grading techniques and the operation of most types of grade construction equipment, including maintenance. The Foreman will supervise a crew, work with supervisors to develop work plans, and prepare job tracking documentation. A good attendance and safety record is essential, and the role involves significant physical activity.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of safety rules, regulations, construction layout, and specifications
  • Knowledge of proper grading techniques as well as the operation of most types of grade construction equipment, including maintenance of all work equipment
  • Five (5) years or more preferred in excavation and grading construction operations.
  • One (1) year or more managing/supervising construction crews
  • Verifiable experience as an equipment operator
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be willing to travel if job requires
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years or more in excavation and grading construction operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a crew of one (1) or more employees depending on the project
  • Work with Grade Supervisor and Project Managers to develop and execute an effective work plan and schedule to meet project goals.
  • Prepare or assist the Grade Supervisor in the preparation of daily, weekly, or monthly job tracking documentation and employee time records
  • Maintain good attendance and safety record and set an example for others to follow
