About The Position

Pipe fitters are responsible for installing complex piping systems on ships and in shops. This involves fabricating, installing, inspecting, and testing numerous piping systems. The role requires learning to read blueprints and will include initial training in a Fundamentals of Piping Fitting class, with ongoing training throughout the career to enhance job knowledge.

Requirements

• Able to work at extreme heights or small confined spaces.
• Able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must take and pass a respirator fit test.
• Able to work indoors/outdoors year round in all weather conditions.
• Able to work assigned shift as production needs.
• Able to pass Physical Agility Test.
