About The Position

Pipe Fitters are responsible for installing complex piping systems on ships and in shops. This involves reading blueprints, fabricating, installing, inspecting, and testing various piping systems. The role includes initial training in a Fundamentals of Piping Fitting class and ongoing training to enhance job knowledge. Requirements

• Ability to work at extreme heights or in small confined spaces.
• Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Must pass a respirator fit test.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work assigned shift as production needs.
• Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test.
• At least 1 year of previous Marine Pipe Fitter experience.

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
