Requirements
- Minimum 3 years as a pipe fitter.
- Self motivated and a creative problem solver and willing to ask questions for clarification.
- Able to multi task.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers/iPad, etc.
Nice To Haves
- 10 hour OSHA class or 30 hour OSHA is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, specifications, submittals, and apply the information to correctly install piping systems.
- Review drawings and make suggestions for portions of the job that can be prefabricated.
- Have working knowledge of chilled water, condenser water, steam, condensate, natural gas, etc.
- Have working knowledge of both carbon and stainless steel systems.
- Able to layout and or mock up piping systems to fit in the field.
- Experience with different welding processes to select the correct one for the application.
- Work well with Comfort Group employees and other contractors on site in a professional manner.
- Be proficient in communications with project managers, superintendents, and contractors to complete jobs on time and on budget.
