About The Position

Pipe Fitter is responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems that transport various fluids and gases for mechanical or industrial systems. This role requires interpreting blueprints and schematics, selecting proper materials, and ensuring installations meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a pipe fitter, mechanical fitter, or similar trade role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fluid dynamics, and pipefitting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of different piping materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, etc.) and joining methods.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Nice To Haves

• Basic welding, Short-Arc (Mig), Heli-Arc (Tig) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping diagrams to plan pipe system layouts.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes and fittings using proper tools and equipment.
• Install piping systems for mechanical equipment such as Nitrogen Generators, Air compressors, Boosters, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), Membrane Generators and Pneumatic systems.
• Fit and align pipes for welding, or mechanical connection.
• Inspect, test, and maintain installed piping systems to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and other trades to coordinate installation activities.
• Identify and report any design, material, or installation issues to supervisor.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
