About The Position

JRT Mechanical is hiring a Pipe Fitter / Welder for its Pasco fabrication shop as the company expands its fabrication work. The role involves fitting and fabricating pipe from drawings and prints, including isometric drawings, and welding pipe using TIG, MIG, and Stick processes. The position is based in a fabrication shop in Pasco, Washington, and supports projects in food processing, schools, large warehouses, and industrial buildings. The schedule offers consistent 40+ hours per week year-round. Pay is based on skills and experience, within a range of $35–$46 per hour. This is a safety-sensitive position, and candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements

• Stable job history.
• Industry experience.
• Ability to TIG, MIG, and Stick weld pipe and pass a weld test for each technique.
• Ability to fit pipe from drawings and prints.
• Experience using a Pipe Profiler.
• Experience using a Rotowelder.
• Ability to read and fabricate from an isometric drawing.
• Understanding of the functional math behind pipe fitting.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
