Requirements
- Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the process of installing mechanical equipment / systems associated with water/ wastewater treatment plants.
- Must be able to read and interpret plans.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4-hour periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Measure and mark installation areas according to conformed drawings.
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
- Install all required lubricants, seals, gaskets, etc. for proper equipment operation.
- Secure equipment and piping to structures with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand tools or power tools.
