About The Position

We are looking for a dependable Pipe Cutting & Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing shop. This position is responsible for preparing and cutting pipe to production specifications while assisting with material handling and other shop operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, pays attention to detail, and is willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a tape measure and following detailed specifications
• Strong attention to accuracy and quality
• Able to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods
• Willing to learn new machinery and work in different areas of the shop
• Reliable, safety-minded, and dependable
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred
• Experience with saws or industrial cutting equipment is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws, hem saws, and related cutting equipment
• Accurately measure and cut pipe according to work orders and specifications
• Inspect materials and verify measurements before cutting
• Load, unload, and move pipe and other materials throughout the shop
• Assist with receiving materials from delivery trucks
• Support assembly and other production activities as needed
• Learn to operate additional equipment as training is provided
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Maintain an organized and hazard-free work area
• Assist with general shop duties and other tasks as assigned
