About The Position

Under general supervision, the PIP Service Representative supports GEICO First Party Medical by entering and assigning PIP litigation and related documents in the claims management system. The role also processes vendor and legal invoices, indexes documents and claims, and provides general support to the GEICO First Party Medical team.

Training and certification require full-time in-office attendance. After training and certification are completed, the position is hybrid, with an in-office requirement of four days per week.

Requirements

• Speak professionally by telephone.
• Handle a heavy workload in a fast-paced work environment, resolve complex business problems, and handle complicated customer issues.
• Follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and demonstrate strong organization and priority-setting skills.
• Respond to emails clearly, concisely, and professionally so they are understood by customers, clients, coworkers, and other employees.
• Be able to multitask.
• Learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
• Efficiently key and log data with a high degree of accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Prior clerical or data entry experience.
• An active Adjusters license.

Responsibilities

• Index and enter Summons & Complaints, Arbitrations, Demands, and other legal-related PIP litigation documents.
• Process vendor and legal expense invoices and manage related reserves.
• Assign logged items to the appropriate Litigation team and examiner for direct handling.
• Enter and assign or reassign legal activities, including trials, summary judgments, conciliations, awards, and withdrawals, to the appropriate examiner and into claims tracking programs and the management system.
