About The Position

Pilots company owned aircraft(s) to transport company officials or customers by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Files flight plan with airport officials. Obtains weather data and interprets data based on flight plan. Makes preflight and in flight tests to ensure safety of flight. Operates radio equipment aboard airplane. Ensures aircraft is clean and has proper supplies for guest (water, snacks, etc), • Maintains, repairs or orders repairs of aircraft as needed. Maintain routine oil changes for all air craft. • Maintain all aircraft equipment status paperwork and ensure aircraft inspections and annual maintenance is completed. Ensures company Financial Department receives copies of all regulatory correspondence. • Maintains flight logs, aircraft trip itineraries, monthly aircraft equipment sheets, etc. • Assist company staff in coordinating flight schedules, accommodations, rental cars, etc. when necessary. • Responsible for submitting all related aircraft expense receipts and billings to the Financial Department for timely payment processing. • Responsible for maintaining company hanger by ensuring it is clean and free of debris. Ensure hanger and office at hanger is properly supplied. • Company contact for all FAA communications. • Represents company on executive level when dealing with business associates, officials, and customers.

Requirements

  • Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as mileage, distance, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must have basic computer and software knowledge.
  • Responsible for ensuring updates are made to all aircraft and related aircraft software; which includes: Garmin/Jeppesen updates.
  • Current FAA pilot license and helicopter license required for operating company aircraft(s).
