About The Position
Entrada at Snow Canyon in St. George, Utah, is hiring a part-time certified Fitness Instructor to lead group fitness classes and/or personal training sessions. The role is suited to someone passionate about health and wellness who provides exceptional member service and helps create a positive, motivating environment. The position is based at the Wellness Center at Entrada, within a private gated community and country club near Snow Canyon’s red rock cliffs. The facility includes fitness equipment, group studios, pickleball courts, a spa, a Pilates reformer studio, and an outdoor pool.
Requirements
- Current nationally recognized fitness certification, such as ACE, NASM, AFAA, or ACSM.
- CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience teaching group fitness or personal training.
Responsibilities
- Lead group fitness classes, including classes such as stretch, Pilates, strength training, HIIT, aqua fitness, or dance fitness.
- Ensure participant safety and well-being by demonstrating proper technique and offering modifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming fitness environment.
- Engage with members, build relationships, and encourage participation in fitness programs.
- Stay current with fitness trends and continuing education.
