About The Position

STRONG is a fitness company offering Pilates-inspired, cardio-infused, low-impact, and high-intensity workouts. Our diverse classes, including ROW, RIDE, and REFORM, are designed to help clients maximize their performance and achieve their fitness goals. We are looking for instructors to deliver our classes, build community, maintain the studio, and assist with administrative tasks.

  • 6+ months of group fitness teaching experience
  • Reliable means of mobility for travel to studio location
  • CPR and AED certification obtained through in-person training is required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Personal Trainer or Pilates certification from a recognized organization
  • STRONG Academy certification (Provided by STRONG)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver STRONG Pilates classes based on a set schedule.
  • Give clients personal attention during class, ensuring clear and precise cueing, correct form, and modifications for injuries.
  • Inspire and promote an energetic environment.
  • Balance teaching, managing lights and music, and adhering to timing and programming.
  • Ensure each client is introduced to the Rowformer and Bikeformer prior to class.
  • Proudly represent your STRONG studio at all times.
  • Welcome clients by name and acknowledge first-time clients and milestones.
  • Maintain an enthusiastic and supportive attitude towards clients.
  • Develop STRONG relationships with clients and build the community culture.
  • Assist in the sale of memberships, merchandise, and other offerings.
  • Maintain upkeep of the studio between classes, including cleaning equipment, reformer maintenance, and restrooms.
  • Assist with washing/soaking/rolling of eucalyptus towels when requested.
  • Take pride in the studio as if it were your own.
  • Handle client interactions via walk-ins, phone, and email.
  • Assist in generating and converting membership sales.
