About The Position

The Pilates Instructor is responsible for booking, programming, and delivering private sessions and small group classes. This role involves proactively identifying, attracting, and retaining members to help them meet their health goals. The instructor will manage scheduling, ensure accurate session redemption, and attend quarterly team meetings. They will also participate in departmental marketing initiatives and foster a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment. A key aspect of the role is responding to all member and internal communications within 24 hours and adhering to Cambridge Group of Clubs Best Practices and Guidelines.

Requirements

  • Fully certified Pilates instructor (STOTT, Balanced Body, Power Pilates or equivalent) across all major apparatus, including Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel and Arc.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
  • Valid CPR and first aid certification
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through workshops and continuing education

  • Additional certifications or specialties, such as experience working with injuries and special populations, are considered an asset.

Responsibilities
