About The Position

To assist in a first line management capacity, administering policies, procedures, functions, and activities of the Pilates Center and to teach Pilates private apparatus lessons, group mat classes, and tower classes.

Requirements

• Pilates Instructor certification through the Pilates Studio or Romana's Pilates (TPNY)
• Annual continuing education (CPE) attendance
• Teaching experience as an apprentice or instructor
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the USA

Nice To Haves

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in dance
• Experience in dance

Responsibilities

• Teaches apparatus lessons, mat classes, and tower classes
• Communicates with clients and manages teaching schedule
• Assists with Pilates events on campus such as student classes, alumni events, & demonstrations
• Maintains personal client payment cards
• Assists with registration and filing of health forms
• Cleans apparatus room weekly and notifies Director of any stocking needs
• Organizes and updates private wait list and other postings on staff board
