Pilates/Fitness Lead Trainer
About The Position
FS8 is a first-of-its - kind fitness experience that remixes Pilates, Tone, and Yoga into one high-energy, low-impact workout. We’ve thrown out the clichés to create a science-backed, circuit-style training system that focuses on building functional strength and community. At FS8 Mechanicsburg, we are committed to " Strength Reimagined "—helping our members move better, feel better, and look better. We are looking for a powerhouse Head Trainer to lead our coaching team and be the face of FS8 Mechanicsburg. This is more than a coaching role; you are a mentor, a strategist, and a community builder. You will be responsible for ensuring every class meets our world-class brand standards while fostering an environment where both trainers and members thrive. Total compensation of $50,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Certified Expert: You hold a recognized fitness certification in Pilates (Mat/Reformer).
- Proven Experience: You have a track record of coaching group fitness and, ideally, experience leading or managing a team of trainers.
- Passion for Movement: You genuinely love the FS8 philosophy of functional, low-impact training and are eager to share that passion with the Mechanicsburg community.
- Operational Mindset: You are organized, professional, and comfortable collaborating on scheduling and business metrics.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends to support the needs of the studio.
Responsibilities
- Lead & Elevate: Act as the technical expert and cultural leader for our coaching staff.
- Mentor & Train: Recruit, onboard, and provide ongoing professional development for instructors to ensure the highest quality of coaching.
- Quality Control: Monitor class performance metrics and conduct regular "in-class" observations to provide actionable feedback to trainers.
- Leadership Collaboration: Partner closely with studio ownership and management on schedule optimization and trainer coverage to ensure the studio runs seamlessly.
- Performance Tracking: Utilize data and member feedback to refine the class schedule and trainer placements.
- Brand Integrity: Ensure FS8 brand consistency, programming standards, and equipment safety are upheld across all sessions.
- Lead from the Front: Coach 10–15+ high-energy classes per week, setting the gold standard for the FS8 experience.
- Engaging Presence: Maintain a confident, magnetic studio presence that motivates members of all fitness levels.
- Retention & Growth: Support membership growth by delivering an exceptional experience that keeps members coming back and refers others to the community.
