About The Position

The Pie Warehouse Multi-Skilled Specialist is expected to understand and perform at least two warehouse job functions and tasks. The role helps ensure a high-quality, safe product while minimizing damage, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining safe work practices. Team members may work in multiple positions at any Bama facility. The schedule is first shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with daily team meetings beginning at 6:45 AM. This is a safety-sensitive, non-exempt, full-time position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to complete certification in at least two warehouse functions.
Understanding of warehouse food-safety and sanitation guidelines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and email.
Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Understanding of quality standards and the ability to follow them and respond appropriately when a process is not functioning correctly.
Ability to participate in accident investigations and complete follow-up reporting.
Understanding of the MER process and ability to follow the COA process.

Responsibilities

Understand shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Complete and process all paperwork correctly for the assigned area of responsibility.
Assist with troubleshooting failures and identify corrective actions.
Follow quality standards and know what to do and whom to contact when a process is not functioning correctly.
Participate in accident investigations and complete follow-up reporting.
Complete certification in at least two warehouse functions, such as bulk receiving, line support (line driver and freezer input), shipping/receiving, inventory clerk, or shuttle driver.
Understand and follow the MER and COA processes.
Follow warehouse food-safety and sanitation guidelines.
