About The Position
Ruge's Ford in Rhinebeck, NY, a family-run auto group in the Hudson Valley, is seeking dependable drivers for their Ford service department. This role involves providing vehicle pickup and delivery services to customers. No prior experience is necessary. The ideal candidate enjoys driving, interacting with people, and is looking for steady employment with a supportive team.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- At least 21 years old (insurance requirement).
- Ability to drive automatic vehicles (manual is a plus).
- Reliable attendance and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for maps and updates.
Nice To Haves
- Dealership, valet, delivery or rideshare driving experience.
- Knowledge of the Rhinebeck / Dutchess County area.
Responsibilities
- Pick up customer vehicles from homes and workplaces and bring them to the service department.
- Return finished vehicles to customers on time and in clean condition.
- Drop off and pick up loaner vehicles.
- Perform a quick walk-around and take photos of each vehicle at pickup and drop-off.
- Keep service advisors updated on your schedule and any delays.
- Assist with dealer trades and parts runs when needed.
