Requirements

  • PPR or IPTPA Certification necessary
  • At least 2-5 years of pickleball coaching at a Country Club or Sports Facility
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, predominately after-school and weekends
  • Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications, or willingness to obtain within a specified period

Responsibilities

  • Run the facility's sports programs, including, but not limited to: leagues, developmental classes, after-school/home school programs, clinics, camps, private/semi-private training sessions, and birthday parties.
  • Teach relevant skills, tactics, and techniques to a wide range of athletes, individuals and groups.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and enhance athlete performance and needs.
  • Provide suitable feedback via positivity, encouragement, example, and motivation.
  • Demonstrate an activity clearly by breaking down the task or technique into a sequence.
  • Be friendly and courteous with athletes, parents, and Iron Peak team members.
  • Identify athlete strengths and areas for development.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all athletes.
  • Implement the curriculum in an accurate, creative, positive, and efficient fashion.
  • Assist management in other areas when required.
