About The Position

The National at Ave Maria Golf Club is seeking a motivated Full-Time Pickleball Professional to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests. This role involves developing and growing the pickleball program through instruction, leagues, tournaments, and special events, while also assisting with daily operations in the Racquet Sports Pro Shop. As an associate of Troon, you will be part of a global leader in club management.

Requirements

• Previous teaching and clinic experience required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced private club environment

Nice To Haves

• 4.5+ pickleball rating preferred
• RSPA or PTR Pickleball Certification preferred
• Tennis knowledge or RSPA Tennis Certification is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Teaches private and group pickleball lessons for players ranging from beginners to advanced competitors
• Conducts engaging clinics, drills, and specialty programs
• Develops, organizes, and assists with leagues, round robins, tournaments, and special events
• Promotes member participation and helps grow the pickleball program
• Provides exceptional customer service to members and guests
• Supports the Racquet Sports Director with programming and departmental operations
• Assists with daily Pro Shop operations, including member check-ins, court reservations, point-of-sale transactions, merchandise sales, and general front desk duties
