About The Position
Beginner’s Edge Sports Training (B.E.S.T.) is looking for energetic and reliable Camp Counselors to join our Colleyville Pickleball Summer Camp team! We are passionate about inspiring kids to build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sports through safe, fun, and inclusive programs. If you have a love for Pickleball, enjoy working with children, and want a meaningful short-term role this summer — we'd love to meet you!
Requirements
- Must commit to the full camp week
- Must be able to stand, walk, or run for at least 1-hour increments
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
- Reliable transportation required
Nice To Haves
- Experienced in coaching Pickleball
- Confident leading activities and motivating groups of children
- Extremely dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Looking for a part-time, short-term summer opportunity
- Previous experience working with children or sports coaching
Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum-based Pickleball activities
- Encourage skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Supervise groups of up to 20 children actively and safely
- Set up, break down, and maintain sports equipment daily
- Keep an organized, clean, and safe camp environment
- Manage daily attendance and student release
