About The Position

This role involves receiving a coversheet and assigned cart for each series of orders, logging onto the voice system to begin the voice-directed picking process. The picker will move the cart through product bin aisles, pick corresponding products from bins, and place the correct product and quantity into the cart. Small items will be bagged or banded together for easier identification. The picker will verify products during the picking process and may maintain daily individual production records, which are reviewed by the supervisor. After completing the cart, the picker returns it to the staging area and disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and clean working conditions. The role also includes participating in special projects and performing other duties as required. Additionally, all positions are responsible for meeting company standards for quantity and quality of work, complying with all company policies and procedures, and adhering to standards of workplace behavior.

Requirements

Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
Good communication (written/verbal) skills.
Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments.
Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.

Responsibilities

Places small items into bags or bands together for easier identification.
Verifies product during the picking process.
May maintain daily individual production records, which are reviewed by the supervisor.
Returns cart to staging area after completing the cart.
Disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and clean working conditions.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Meets company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.
Performs all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
