About The Position

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Picking Lead, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Picking department. When an order is placed by a branch, you will pick the requested quantity, pack the order, print a label with a routing number and send the product to the next department, Sortation. You will provide guidance to ensure operations are completed correctly, efficiently and on time. Requirements

18 years of age or older
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Lead and motivate a team of employees
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
