About The Position
The Picker will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of residential, commercial, or industrial waste and recyclable materials along designated routes. This role supports public health by ensuring timely service, adherence to safety and environmental regulations, and respectful interaction with the community.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong work ethic
- Strong desire to learn and an ability to apply that knowledge during their daily duties.
- Team player with safe working habits
- Clean driving record
- Flexibility with your work schedule is a must, as start and end times may vary.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Flexibility is also required as this position occasionally requires travel, early starts, late finishes and, on rare occasions, weekend work.

- Previous waste industry experience would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Adhering to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Ensure timely collection of waste and recyclable materials.
- You must be highly productive and have excellent customer services skills.
- Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures.
