About The Position

Pick customer orders according to ISO 9001 instructions. This role involves assembling customer orders from stock, marking materials, completing unloads and replenishment forms, counting items, and maintaining inventory records. The position requires a strong commitment to quality and adherence to ISO 9001 standards, as well as compliance with all safety policies. The employee must display behavior and judgment that consistently upholds Hibbert ACT values.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic warehouse operations.
  • Six months experience in pick/pack.
  • Basic math, reading, and PC skills.
  • Good prioritization skills.
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment including forklift, order picker, count scale, electric jack and manual hand jack.
  • Ability to work independently toward general results.
  • Must demonstrate working proficiency of the English language
  • Can effectively communicate with, but not limited to, English speaking employees/other business contacts (contractors, customers, vendors, etc).
  • Successfully comprehends business materials written in English ( job assignments, instructions, etc)
  • Ability to learn cGMP requirements as it relates to their role -- required prior to working on cGMP service lines.
  • Ability to learn PDMA requirements as it relates to their role -- required prior to working on Prescription Drug service lines.

Responsibilities

  • Pick customers order per shipping orders, requisitions, internal masters, or D-jackets.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or rail system, or convey order to packing station or shipping area.
  • Mark materials with identifying packing information as appropriate.
  • Complete location unloads and replenishment forms as appropriate.
  • Count items for distribution to ensure conformance to packing information.
  • Maintain inventory records on computer as appropriate.
  • Attend Warehouse meetings as required.
  • Ensures a strong commitment to quality and adheres to all ISO 9001 related standards.
  • Complies with all safety policies and reports any safety issues immediately to a manager.
  • All other duties/ responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management.
  • Displays behavior and judgment that consistently upholds Hibbert ACT values.
