About The Position

The Picker position is a full-time role at the Northern Tier BU - MN Commissary Warehouse located at 6890 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota 55430. This role involves producing quality food products efficiently by assembling, wrapping, labeling, case packing, and palletizing product. The position also requires maintaining a clean and organized work area, rotating duties, and reporting any issues with product quality or equipment to the appropriate personnel. All duties must be performed in compliance with USDA or FDA, OSHA, state and local regulations, and company policies, including safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have the ability to comprehend basic verbal instructions and read product labels.
• Must be reliable and dependable; available to work Monday through Friday plus Saturday if directed to do so by HSF management.
• No minimum education requirement.
• Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality food products in an efficient manner by assembling, wrapping, labeling and/or case packing and palletizing product.
• Clean and organize work area as needed.
• Rotate duties and production lines when necessary.
• Notify Line Lead, Floor Lead, Production Supervisor or Plant Manager of inferior product issues or equipment that is not working properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by HSF Management, Supervisors and/or Leads.
• Perform all duties in compliance with USDA or FDA, OSHA and state and local regulations and company policies and procedures; including safety guidelines and the use of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
