About The Position

The Picker Packer (Warehouse Associate) fills customer orders by selecting specified items from different areas of a distribution center. The role involves indicating items that were filled or omitted, moving merchandise manually between locations, and potentially processing returned merchandise. The position works in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to walk up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to frequently carry up to 60 lbs for distances of up to 30 feet each time.
• Full range of motion of the waist and neck.
• Unrestricted use of the upper extremities and ability to reach overhead.
• Ability to frequently bend to the floor, twist, and kneel.

Responsibilities

• Pick, scan, and stage customer orders by selecting specified items from various locations within the distribution center.
• Ensure order accuracy, quality standards, and proper handling of materials throughout the fulfillment process.
• Follow established standard work procedures and operational guidelines.
• Comply with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete routine operational tasks under close to moderate supervision.
• Exercise limited judgment in task execution and escalate issues as needed.
• Move merchandise manually from one location to another and potentially process returned merchandise.
